Welcome to Masuta
MASUTA Producers Company Limited (herein referred to as Masuta) was registered on 26th December 2005 as a Producers’ Company (S 581c (5) of Part IX A of the Companies Act 1956. Masuta was promoted by PRADAN, a national developmental organisation working on enhancing livelihood opportunities for the underprivileged across India.

What you are doing
All the producers of MASUTA are drawn from PRADAN promoted SHGs. Initially PRADAN professionals start spotting poorer pockets, poorer habitations and ultimately focusing on the poorest families in that habitation. Before intervention, the average family income of such family was Rs 20,000 to 50,000 per year, mostly marginal farmer, many of them are landless.
